With such uplifting Dj sets he managed to get himself to bless masses in various venues in Botswana and South Africa delivering Deep and Soulful house sounds to the deeply minded. Born in Gaborone and raised in both Botswana and South Africa, Leks started his Dj’in career in 2006 and adapted his mixing styles from House Pioneers locally and internationally such as Black Coffee, Louie Vega, Dj Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Rocco, Osunlade, Charles Webster, Dennis Ferrer and Karizma. Growing up in an environment that has different people of various nationalities, tastes, backgrounds and language drew Leks more and more closer to House Music. In 2004, Leks was in Maru A Pula School staying at a boarding house that had about 10 Djs in a school with over 40 different nationalities. From then on he was inspired by his senior Djs at the time, Joey, Ditso, Big Chew and Chop who were in the same boarding house and that’s where it all started. Without any hesitation he dived into the music scene. Leks developed his love for House Music at an early age of 16 after listening to Dj Fresh's House Flava Vol.6 and Iggy Smallz Sweet Sounds.
